  Had a lovely evening - even though the place was a bit noisy. Food very good, service was excellent - our waitress very attentive without "hovering". Would certainly go again.

  We used to like this restaurant a lot - expensive but great food and great service and nice ambience. We've been there on Christmas eve for four years running. The first year, we had a very early booking because of the age of our grandson. When we arrived they had no record of our booking even though my daughter made it in person and saw it written down. Fortunately, because it was early they were able to accommodate us. In 2015, they took away the partitioning which made the eating area huge - more like a huge canteen. The service had definitely deteriorated. Nevertheless, we went again this Christmas eve but it was worse. The noise level and heat had increased to uncomfortable levels and the service had slowed down considerably. We won't be going there again
