  Its been going for years and the food and staff are great. Friendly atmosphere, lots of tables if you require a party. The back room can be used for karaoke and celebrations. Christmas and our new year, plus Chinese new year is always full, so book in advance. Choice of menu or all you can eat menus. Its a great place to enjoy fine cuisine. You can also see the kitchen cooking opposite the bar. Warm welcoming & feeling to a old Victorian building.

  we went for a sit in meal at ruby Chinese and it was lovely so we decided to order a takeaway a week later. we were so disappointed with the takeaway, no taste, bland and poorly cooked. never again will I order from them.

  All you can eat menu on a week day evening is simply the best for 15 miles around. It's the kind of format where your party chooses a number of starters and reorder as often as you like before moving on to mains. This means the food is always served fresh and delicious, with portions tailored to your group size, and dietary requirements taken care of.
  I cannot recommend this place enough, we have been coming here as a family for as long as I can remember, and even though I've now I've moved 90 minutes away it is still my first choice for a Chinese restaurant.
